Three Sparrows

As the sun was smiling from the east this morning, I looked out the shower window, as I like to do, to see all the potted plants below. Three sparrows were taking turns flying back and forth from their various perching places: the princess flower, the oak tree, and one of the maple trees — in order to take a morning bath in the bird bath. Abundant joy at waking to the day, feathers glistening with clear sparkling water drops. Now that they are finished, it’s time for God to feed them.

It reminded me of the gospel hymn: “His eye is on the sparrow”.

Have a blessed week
